As a not-for-profit initiative, we seek sponsorship funds to secure the long term future of the Awards. We invite organisations to provide financial support to develop the Green Gown Awards in return for sharing their sustainability knowledge and brand exposure.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is the leading professional body for Management and Leadership. Through its globally recognised professional qualifications and professional standards, it is the only organisation that can award Chartered Manager status.

With over 900 Partners worldwide, CMI works with universities, colleges and learning and skills providers and a membership of over 225,000 to inspire people to become skilled, confident and successful managers and leaders.
In addition to CMI’s commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, sustainable and ethical leadership sits at the heart of CMI’s Professional Standard. They currently provide professional accreditation of a number of sustainability management programmes, through CMI Dual Accreditation and embedding of CMI qualification units.
CMI is excited to be developing a range of new Sustainability Leadership and Management Qualifications and resources. These will be launched in 2025 to upskill and develop the green management skills so leaders and managers across all sectors can meet the needs of challenges, opportunities and change in the future.
