Centre for Sustainable Fashion (Fashion Values programme) x Global Fashion Agenda: Next Gen Assembly
The Next Gen Assembly (NGA) programme is led by Centre for Sustainable Fashion and Global Fashion Agenda. The NGA convenes eight talented students and graduates in an impactful advocacy programme, enabling them to gain access to the fashion industry, have their voices heard and ideas nurtured.
Each year, the NGA are supported in developing critical advocacy and communication skills to foster their development as sustainability changemakers. This is achieved through a year-long collaborative programme including:
- Online workshops.
- Remote learning via the Fashion Values curriculum, skills sharing, and attending and playing a critical role at the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition.
There have been two cohorts of the NGA to date (2023 and 2024). Each cohort focuses on a core theme:
- In 2023, the NGA focussed on purposeful storytelling, collaboratively nurturing stories of the ingenuity and creativity of humanity across the fashion system.
- In 2024, the NGA rethink how we define value in the fashion economy designing new methods and approaches for fashion business to adapt and transform.
