Sustainable Development Ambassadors Program

The Sustainable Development Ambassadors’ Program (SDAP) is a peer-to-peer education program intended to select ambassadors from each school of the university in order to benefit from a training on sustainable development and SDGs, then apply it with their peers by implementing actions on sustainability.

This program has been featured in the 2021 Sustainable campus index published by the Association of the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

The SDA program is currently in its fourth edition and has been able to empower more than 128 ambassadors, who impacted more than 3000 students among their peers during 4 years. This year, as part of the continuous improvement of the program, an online course on sustainable development has been designed by the institution to be added to the academic curriculum and the SD ambassadors will be the first targets of the BETA testing.

This will be an important outcome to be added to their learning journey about sustainability.
