UM6P Solidarity Initiative

The University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) Solidarity Initiative is a program designed to impact populations in need through different solidarity actions and programs related to community service and the public engagement of the university using minimal resources.

Through this program, students and staff of the UM6P community are mobilized to serve a social cause and help disadvantaged families in the region to enjoy their celebrations and winter seasons through securing their basic needs through small actions and money collection.

Different student clubs, departments and local associations are involved in collaboration with the sustainable development department to ensure an effective implementation of the actions in their different stages.

More than 14 initiatives including an annual food bank program have impacted more than 500 families in the local region despite the short period of collection and distribution, in addition to the small staff and mobilized students who are mainly the sustainable development ambassadors.

1. We are proudly engaging the university community in a short period to urgently help underprivileged communities.
2. Despite our minimal resources, we are able to create impact and bring smiles.
3. We are addressing critical issues such as food insecurity and solidarity.
