King Faisal University's contribution towards agriculture among local community

The role of the King Faisal University (KFU) is not limited only to education within the campus, but rather extends its borders to reach all categories of society. All sectors of KFU work to achieve the university's institutional identity in food security and environmental sustainability. Each sector includes a community service unit that is one of the most important functions of the university in developing society, solving its problems, and linking scientific research to the needs of the production and service sectors.

This project is presented to elaborate on the activities presented by the college of Agricultural and Food Sciences which is considered as one of our most important colleges concerned with the areas of food security and environmental sustainability.

1. We have improved institutional commitment to our local community, especially farmers.
2. Our social responsibility has enhanced the skills of farmers.
