Environment Consciousness Program - An initiative towards sustainable future

The Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, University of Delhi has environmental awareness programmes as part of its operations in order to contribute to the creation of a more environmentally sustainable world. Environmental awareness activities at the institution aim to establish an eco-friendly and sustainable campus and also imparting important environmental information to all members of the college community.

The College has so far engaged in a variety of efforts to promote, monitor, and nurture an environment friendly campus and society as well. Student involved initiatives and activities presented a number of innovative working models explaining its uses to reduce the usage of natural resources. These activities help to raise awareness among students and staff members about the environmental issues as well as take positive environmental actions.

A green, environmental and energy audit is carried out in order to detect, assess, and prioritise environmental sustainability.

1. Our college empowers students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects, explore environmental concepts and actions for its betterment.
2. We have established best environmental practices like rainwater harvesting, compost making, paper recycling etc. in the campus.
