As a not-for-profit initiative, we seek sponsorship funds to secure the long term future of the Awards. We invite organisations to provide financial support to develop the Green Gown Awards in return for sharing their sustainability knowledge and brand exposure.
The Association of University Engineers (AUE) was formed in 1970 by a small group of University Engineers who wanted to create a 'networked union of like-minded people'. The AUE comprises nine regions which have regular meetings. The Association organises an annual conference with CPD training sessions and a suppliers' exhibition. The AUE also hosts an active online forum (Jiscmail) and CPD accredited training events. AUE members have access to a wide range of technical documents in the Info Centre, which can be found in the Members' Area of their website. Today the AUE has in excess of 400 members, who come from over 100 universities throughout the UK and Eire.
