Small University, big ambition

Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is a smaller specialist arts institution with grand ambitions in environmental sustainability and ethical practices. We have embarked on numerous projects that have substantially reduced our carbon emissions, fostered sustainability through creative activities, and enhanced our net biodiversity gain.

Our Sustainability and Net Zero plan and dedicated Task Force has played an instrumental role in implementing this plan and driving our sustainability initiatives. We have embraced clean technology solutions and integrated environmental sustainability and ethical considerations into our curriculum.

Our events and symposiums have served as a platform for dialogue and learning about sustainability issues. We have also increased biodiversity on our campus, encouraging sustainable travel practices, organized sustainable artistic competitions, and even utilized dyes grown on our campus.

AUB may be a smaller arts university, but our commitment to environmental sustainability and ethical practices is big. Through our various initiatives, we strive to make a significant positive impact on our environment and society.
