Announcing the 2019 International Green Gown Awards Winners

The winners of the 2019 International Green Gown Awards were announced on 10th July 2019 at our host partner venue - the Institute of International Education (IIE) - in New York as part of the United Nations High Level Political Forum.

The International Green Gown Awards celebrate the exceptional sustainability initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges across the world and are endorsed by United Nations Environment and are supported by The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), L’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and International Association of Universities (IAU).

The bilingual Ceremony, hosted by Aurelien Decamps, Director, Kedge Business School / Co-Founder, Sulitest and Sam Barratt, Director, United Nations Environment, crowned the International Green Gown Awards winners. The winners were presented with their trophies by Satya Tripathi, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Head of New York Office.

Established as the most prestigious recognition of sustainability best practice within the education sector globally, the International Green Gown Awards provide benchmarks for excellence and are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Annonce des lauréats de l’édition 2019 des International Green Gown Awards

Les lauréats des International Green Gown Awards ont été annoncés le 10 juillet 2019 dans les locaux de notre partenaire, l’Institute of International Education, à New York, dans le cadre du Forum Politique de Haut Niveau pour le Développement Durable des Nations Unies.

Les International Green Gown Awards récompensent les initiatives durables les plus novatrices mises en place par des universités du monde entier. Ils bénéficient de l’appui de l’ONU Environnement, et sont soutenus par l’Association des Universités du Commonwealth, l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie et l’Association Internationale des Universités.

La cérémonie bilingue, présidée par Aurelien Decamps, Directeur de Kedge Business School et Sulitest, et Sam Barratt, Directeur de la section Jeunesse & Éducation de l’ONU Environnement a récompensé les vainqueurs de l’édition 2019 des International Green Gown Awards. Les vainqueurs ont reçu leurs trophées avec les félicitations de Satya Tripathi, Sous-Secrétaire général et Chef du Bureau du Programme des Nations Unies pour l’environnement à New York.
